About Bloomingdale, IL - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Located in DuPage County, Bloomingdale is a village found in northeast Illinois approximately 25 miles outside of Chicago. As of 2010, the population had just exceeded 22,000 residents. Bloomingdale is known for being one of the earliest villages settled in the county with a history that dates back to 1833. Originally named Meacham’s Grove, the village was incorporated in 1839. Bloomingdale remained quite small until a population boom occurred from 1950 to 1980.

There are several interesting attractions and points of interest in Bloomingdale. Shopping is popular in this community, with the Stratford Square Mall at Springfield and Schick Roads being the largest of the village’s shopping centers. During the hot summer months, residents may enjoy a trip to the Oasis Water Park to beat the heat, and residents who are looking for a day of relaxation may prefer a trip to Massage Envy Spa Bloomingdale or Spa Vargas at the Hilton Chicago Resort. The Bloomingdale Park District Museum is also a great place for residents and visitors to learn more about the history of the region.

The weather conditions in Bloomingdale will vary quite dramatically from winter to summer, so most residents will invest in both home heating and cooling systems to stay comfortable year-round. An energy efficient furnace is a must, as winter weather in Bloomingdale will include freezing temperatures and snowy conditions. These weather patterns can be extremely dangerous, so a reliable furnace is non-negotiable.

Similarly, residents of Bloomingdale will need to use an air conditioner system to stay comfortable during the summer, although these climate controls aren’t as crucial as a furnace. Bloomingdale will experience hot and humid summer months, and the muggy air can be extremely problematic for residents living with allergies or other respiratory issues. Fortunately, an investment of an energy efficient air conditioning system can improve indoor air quality while also keeping temperatures comfortable.
